Kingdom Relationships

Kingdom relationships fulfill our deepest longings to be useful and productive in the noble things of eternal importance on this earth today.  They are exemplified in family relationships and motivate us to show our love for one another, even in something as mundane as changing a baby’s diaper.

Individually, we glorify God our Father by being what He has made us to be.   “… to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ should be to the praise of His glory” (Ephesians 1:12 NASB).   He has made us new creatures and adopted us as His children.  Just as a newborn baby is to the glory of the parents, our being what He has made us is to the praise of His glory.

Christ Jesus builds His Church to be to the glory of God our Father.  “Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever. Amen.   I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord entreat you to walk in a manner worth of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance to one another in love being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 3:20 – 4:3 NASB).
